Miami Broward Carnival planning starts with choosing the right address for the right date. The organizer’s August 20 announcement places October 3’s opening events in Tamarac and October 10–11’s main weekend events in Lauderhill. But conflicting directions remain online—including on the organizer’s own website.

Our September 21 comparison of the announcement, venue guide, linked ticket listings and Tamarac’s event page found another discrepancy: Pan Jamboree has two advertised time windows. This guide separates addresses supported by those sources from arrival instructions and ticket details that still need confirmation.
Miami Broward Carnival 2026 locations and times
All dates below are in 2026; times are local. These are venue addresses, not confirmed vehicle entrances.
| Event | Date | Listed time | Venue and address |
|---|---|---|---|
| Junior Carnival | Saturday, October 3 | 1–8 p.m. | Tamarac Sports Complex, 9901 NW 77th Street, Tamarac |
| Pan Jamboree | Saturday, October 3 | Conflicting: guide says 4–8 p.m.; CaribTix says 5–10 p.m. | Same Tamarac address: 9901 NW 77th Street |
| Red Road Fete + J’Ouvert | Friday, October 9 | 6–11 p.m. | Tamarac Village Amphitheater, 9090 NW 57th Street, Tamarac |
| Official J’Ouvert | Saturday, October 10 | 7 a.m.–3 p.m. | Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill |
| Carnival Day Parade & Fete | Sunday, October 11 | 11 a.m.–11 p.m. | Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium, 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill |
Miami Broward Carnival’s August 20 announcement places two events at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill: Official J’Ouvert on October 10 and Carnival Day Parade & Fete on October 11. The organizer lists 3700 NW 11th Place. Sources: announcement and venue guide, checked September 21, 2026.
Table sources: organizer-linked CaribTix listings for Junior Carnival, Pan Jamboree, Official J’Ouvert and Sunday; the organizer’s guide; and Tamarac’s Red Road page.
October 3: one Tamarac address, but check Pan Jamboree’s hours
Miami Broward Carnival’s two October 3, 2026, opening events share 9901 NW 77th Street in Tamarac. The organizer’s venue guide lists Junior Carnival at 1–8 p.m. and Pan Jamboree at 4–8 p.m., using Sports Complex and Sports Park for the location. Source: organizer’s venue guide, checked September 21, 2026.
Pan Jamboree’s hours remain unresolved: its linked CaribTix listing instead advertises 5–10 p.m. Neither page establishes which time window supersedes the other. Confirm before arranging pickup or deciding when to arrive for steelpan.
The address agreement matters: the two park names do not establish two separate destinations. Families attending both opening events can plan around one venue, while leaving the evening departure time flexible.
October 9–11: distinguish the two J’Ouvert events
Friday’s Red Road Fete + J’Ouvert is at the Tamarac Village Amphitheater, a different Tamarac location from October 3’s sports complex. The city describes an evening that begins with performances and transitions into a J’Ouvert celebration. Its published window is 6–11 p.m. on October 9. Source: City of Tamarac.
Saturday’s Official J’Ouvert is the separate October 10 event in Lauderhill. Sunday’s ticket page calls the finale Parade & Bacchanal Sunday Fete and corroborates the announced Lauderhill venue. Match the date and address when buying; the word “J’Ouvert” alone does not identify the event. Saturday listing, Sunday listing.
Which online directions conflict?
As of September 21, 2026, Miami Carnival’s homepage still lists a Carnival Day masquerader drop-off at 114th Avenue and SW 24th Street. That Miami-Dade instruction conflicts with the announced Lauderhill venue for October 11. It should not be treated as verified 2026 arrival guidance. Sources: homepage and 2026 announcement.
Three other mismatches deserve attention:
- Sunday still says TBA on the About page. The dated announcement names Central Broward Park, and Sunday’s linked ticket listing agrees. Together, those provide stronger venue guidance than the incomplete About-page entry.
- Carnival Crashers contradicts its own schedule. Its guide correctly lists the October 3 events in Tamarac, but elsewhere groups all four signature events at Central Broward Park. That blanket Lauderhill instruction conflicts with the organizer’s event-specific schedule. Source: Carnival Crashers guide.
- The standalone Pan Jamboree page mixes dates. It displays an October 9 heading alongside 2025 references and Central Broward Park copy. Use the 2026 announcement and event listing for the October 3 location; confirm the hours separately. Source: Pan Jamboree page.
The practical rule from this audit: verify each event individually. A correct page heading does not make every transportation paragraph beneath it current.
Tickets: official links and the restricted $5 offer
As of September 2026, the organizer-linked CaribTix descriptions label both Junior Carnival and Pan Jamboree free events.
For paid events, start with the organizer’s CaribTix collection. It links to Saturday and Sunday separately. Friday’s purchase route runs through Red Road’s website, linked by Tamarac.
Our check did not expose usable current paid-ticket inventory, checkout totals or complete access conditions. We therefore cannot verify standard admission prices. Before paying, check the event date, fees, admission category and whether a package includes any additional event.
Do not assume general admission includes participation with a band. The organizer’s homepage distinguishes J’Ouvert Jam Zone admission from parade-route access, but its mixed-date content makes confirmation of 2026 ticket terms essential. Source: organizer homepage.
As of September 2026, Ticketweb’s Culture Shock Miami listing displays a $5 ticket with $0 listed fees. This is a restricted offer:
- Eligible buyers are ages 13–22.
- An eligible buyer may purchase a second ticket at the same price for someone of any age.
- The eligible attendee must be present with identification proving age eligibility.
The listing also retains Fairgrounds language. Confirm redemption and arrival instructions before purchasing; neither the $5 price nor that venue language should be generalized to ordinary admission.
Parking and drop-off: what remains unconfirmed
Tamarac explicitly says Red Road’s event map, designated parking and rideshare details will be supplied later. Its published amphitheater address is therefore a destination reference, not a confirmed drop-off point. Source: Tamarac arrival information.
For the other events, this audit did not verify 2026 parking lots, parking charges, vehicle gates, shuttle routes or accessible drop-off arrangements. Do not infer free general parking from a band package, or carry forward the homepage’s Fairgrounds shuttle instructions.
Recheck on October 2 for the opening events and October 8 for the October 9–11 weekend. Before leaving, save the latest event-specific entrance map and confirm both your arrival point and return pickup location. A venue address gets you to the property; current event instructions should determine the final approach.
